The artist lies on the ground in a wooded area, her keys nearby and a takeaway coffee. Is she resting? Is she dead? The coffee indicates relaxation, enjoying the sun, the keys indicate a drive to nature? or self-protection? The young boy (the artists son) is a football referee, he holds up a red card warning the retro ‘monsters’ depicted from 90’s horror movies heading toward the artist. The painting questions where the responsibility lies stopping violence against women.
